Arabescato Corchia Marble is sourced from the renowned quarries of Massa and Carrara in Tuscany, Italy. Many people have travelled to Tuscany and admired what they thought were snow-capped mountains in the distance only to later realise that it is the Carrara Marble quarries! Distinguished by its dramatic dark grey veining formed in a chain-link pattern, contrasting a bright white background, Arabescato Marble makes a bold, confident statement in any space.
While Arabescato Marble is a dense stone, it requires thoughtful care – avoiding acidic cleaners and applying an impregnating sealer to preserve its beauty over time. At Saltwood, we love and respect the ‘real deal’ – no manmade recreation can match the touch and feel of solid natural marble. However, we also recognise that it may not be the ideal benchtop for everyone. As a living stone, its marks and scratches become part of the story, creating a rich patina that reflects the beauty of life lived.
